On the first Sunday of every month Camperdown comes to life with a Street Market. Local Art and Crafts, Fresh Produce, Home Made Jams and Marmalades as well as Garden Plants are on offer.
The Camperdown Leura Fest is held annually in March as a focus for community to celebrate world music and culture, the music reflects the atmosphere of the Middle East, Africa, India the Balk lands, Celtic Lands and the Australian Desert. Events include an art exhibition, patchwork exhibition, street procession, fun run, gala sports festa, church floral display, fireworks and other family entertainment.
Bookaar Family Fun Day, Organized by the South West District Restoration Group Inc. Held during March. Aircraft and Glider Joy Flights, Vintage Vehicles & Machinery, Steam & Oil Engines, Working Demonstrations & Static Displays, Country & Western Entertainment, Pipe & Brass Bands, Craft Stalls, Entertainment For kids, BBQ Luncheon and Refreshments Available, Line Dancing, Working Draught Horses and Model Trains.
Camperdown Pastoral and Agricultural Show Fun for all the family with entertainment, rides, displays, showgirl contests, horse, cattle and dog competitions. Held on the last weekend in November.
The Horse Trials attract hundreds of people from throughout Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales who travel to Camperdown each April for a weekend of equestrian events including dressage, cross country and show jumping. The spectacular venue at the Lakes Recreation Park provides excellent vantage points for spectators to witness exciting competition between Australia's top riders and Olympians.
Camperdown Races Turf club meetings are held regularly throughout the year at the Camperdown racecourse, north of Camperdown. The club meeting is held in March.
Hill climbs are organised by the Ford Four Car Club and are held regularly during the year on a narrow winding course up Mount Leura which is recognised as one of Australia's best tracks.
